I live in Tennessee, and I got a speeding ticket when I was 17 that would be dismissed if I went to driving school, which I did. That ticket’s not on my record anymore. But I just got a ticket today, and I have the option of going to court or sending in the money and not paying court costs, but if I just send in the money, the points will be added to my record automatically. Some people have been telling me even if I go to court, the points will be added automatically, because I’ve been to driving school in the past 2-3 years (whatever the limit is), and can’t go again, UNLESS the judge gives me permission to again. What should I do?
Does the judge usually allow you to go to the school again?
Or is there no chance for me, and I should send in my money now to avoid court costs.
