1. About these terms
These terms apply when a driving instructor or driving school registers or purchases a listing from Driving Schools Directory at driving-schools-directory.co.uk. Please read them before registering or paying for a Featured Listing.

2. What the directory provides
The directory publishes information supplied by independent driving instructors and schools and helps prospective pupils contact them. Driving Schools Directory does not provide driving lessons and is not a party to any agreement between a pupil and an instructor.
We do not guarantee a particular search-engine position, number of enquiries, pupil, booking or amount of income. Instructors are responsible for deciding whether a pupil is suitable and for agreeing lesson prices, availability and terms directly with the pupil.
3. Standard and Featured Listings
A Standard Listing is free. A Featured Listing costs £25 for 12 months. Featured Listings are highlighted, appear before Standard Listings in matching directory results, may include one listing image, and receive matching pupil enquiries immediately. Standard Listings receive matching enquiries after two days, or immediately when no Featured Listing matches the pupil's town and lesson type.
The £25 payment is a one-off payment. It does not create an automatic subscription or authorise an automatic renewal. A further payment is required to renew for another year.
4. Payment and activation
Payments are processed by PayPal. Driving Schools Directory does not receive or store your full card or PayPal login details. Returning to the directory after checkout does not activate a Featured Listing automatically. The administrator checks the payment and confirms the upgrade separately.
The 12-month Featured period begins on the activation date recorded by the administrator. If payment cannot be verified, is reversed or is for the wrong amount, the listing will not be upgraded.
5. 90-day money-back guarantee
Your first £25 Featured Listing purchase has a 90-day money-back guarantee. To request it, email [email protected] within 90 calendar days of that first payment and identify the relevant listing.
An accepted refund will be returned through the original payment method where possible, and the listing will revert to a Standard Listing. The guarantee applies to the first Featured purchase for a listing and does not restart on renewal. After the 90-day period, payments are not normally refunded merely because a listing is cancelled or receives fewer enquiries than expected. This does not affect any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Renewal and cancellation
We may send a renewal reminder before the Featured period ends. If a further annual payment is not made and confirmed, the listing will revert to a Standard Listing at the end of its paid period.
You may ask us to remove a listing or revert it to Standard at any time. Ending a listing does not normally produce a proportional refund after the 90-day guarantee has expired.
7. Your listing and account
You must provide accurate, lawful and current information, keep your account secure, and update the listing when details change. You must have permission to publish any text, logo or image you supply. Do not submit misleading claims, unlawful material, another person's personal information without authority, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
Listings are reviewed before approval. We may correct an obvious formatting problem, decline, suspend or remove a listing, or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to protect pupils, other instructors, the directory or the law. Where practical, we will explain the reason and give the account holder an opportunity to correct the problem.
8. Enquiries
When a pupil submits a shared enquiry, their details are made available to eligible instructors according to the Featured and Standard timing described above. A pupil may instead contact one instructor directly from that instructor's listing. An enquiry is an introduction only; it does not guarantee that either party will respond or enter an agreement.
9. Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the directory available and its information secure, but maintenance, faults and services outside our control may interrupt access. We will take reasonable steps to restore the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted by law. Subject to that, Driving Schools Directory is not responsible for an instructor's services, statements or conduct, a pupil's conduct, or indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the listing was purchased.
10. Privacy, changes and law
Our Privacy Policy explains how account, enquiry and payment information is used and retained. We may update these terms when the service or law changes. Material changes affecting a current paid period will be brought to the account holder's attention.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear any dispute.
