Hello, I am a Driving Instructor of some 31 Years so have obviously got a lot of experience. In my time I have notched up about 35000 hours in tuition. I drive a Ford Fiesta which is a really easy car to drive so its ideal for teaching pupils. On the lessons we can start off in a quite place, so no going onto roads that are busy in the first lesson or so, a great asset for pupils who are nervous. During every three or four lessons or so i give the pupil a Highway Code test, which can be fun but also have a serious side to it. Eventually we will go on the motorway which is great driving at a high speed, good for confidence and really not too difficult. When we get nearer to the test, I have a chat with the pupil to put them in the correct frame of mind for the test. Of course there is a lot more to tuition than I can speak about here but you will see on the lessons how the tuition works.
