Hello I am Paul. I am a fully qualified Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor. I specialise in driving courses in Bolton and the surrounding areas having lived here all my life, although I may travel to other areas upon request.

THE CAR

Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 CDTI (turbo diesel)

For safety and comfort we have dual controls, anti lock braking system, drivers airbag, air conditioning, electric windows and both door mirrors are electric, height adjustable drivers seat ( tallest pupil 6’6’’, shortest 4’9’’ both have no problems).

I would usually meet you, introduce myself and the LDC system and have a one and a half hour lesson to assess which course may be the best for you and answer any questions you may have. I will customise any of the LDC courses to meet your individual needs.

WHY ME

I am authorised to use the LDC system of accelerated learning that will save time in the car (and therefore money).

Approved by the DSA. (Safe Driving for Life)

I am a member of the local Driving Instructor association, therefore kept up to date with all local requirements of Bolton test centre:-

Which local unmarked crossroads is not treated as such?
Local one way street, which lane to use to turn right?
First toucan crossing in Bolton (May 2005), where is it?
Which major junction in Bolton will the examiner help you at?
Bay Park, what is acceptable as a ‘shunt’?
Manoeuvres, can I touch the kerb and still pass?

I can answer all the above questions for you.

Full access to all 18 test routes and also to the extended test routes used in Bolton.

Access to driving test full written reports (not just DL25 pass or fail sheet).
Regular meetings with Driving Examiners and Supervising Examiners to find out the standards they require and how they would like you to deal with any unusual road markings or junctions.

Pass Plus course available after you have passed your test, this course will get you extra experience and huge discounts on car insurance. Best of all no test or exam to pass, you just need to complete the required modules with me. Also available to pupils who pass with another instructor.

Mock Driving Test for existing pupils or if you have a different instructor give me a call for a mock test, this will simulate a real test for you and help you get used to test conditions (two hour lesson).
